Dr. Phoebe Sun

Dr. Phoebe Sun was born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey and attended college at Cornell University in New York.  After college, she spent a year in the Bronx as a part of City Year NY, where she ran an after-school program and provided in-class support for special needs 3rd graders. She then moved to Philadelphia to earn her DMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Nashville where she provided care to patients in need of full-mouth rehabilitation. She loved being able to help them transition from smiling with their lips closed to laughing confidently.

After residency, she moved to Lexington with her husband who is completing an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at UK (this means there is way too much talk of teeth at the dinner table, a side effect of meeting your spouse in dental school).  When she’s not perfecting smiles, she likes to chase her cats around, watch true-crime shows, and learn how to cook her mom’s favorite recipes.
